Note from the President

Happy New Year, and Welcome to the Encinitas Ranch Women’s Golf Club!

Please join me in welcoming new members to our 2010 Board of Directors.  Kathy Jaray will be Membership Chair, Mary Day and Tina Lane will co-chair Tournaments, and Ellen Beshears and Peggy Shima will co-chair the Social Committee.    Please check the “Leader Board” for other Board and Committee members and their responsibilities.  We all look forward to working with you to make your membership in this Club as enjoyable as possible. 

Join me, too, in thanking Carol Hartwell, Mimi Tokoro, and especially Cindy Platko, for their many years of hard work and dedication to our Club.  We indeed hope they will have many happy days of “just playing golf”, as they so richly deserve!

Several changes, other than our IDC numbers becoming GHIN numbers, are taking place as we enter the New Year, so I encourage you to consult the Event Calendar and to become a regular visitor to this site.   As always, please feel free to contact me or any other member of the Board with suggestions you may have to make this operation run more smoothly, or to make your membership more satisfying.

I look forward to meeting those of you I may not already know, and to seeing all of you out on the golf course!
