Note from the President

Happy New Year and welcome to the Encinitas Ranch Women’s Golf Club

I would like to welcome the new members of our 2009 Board of Directors.  Taking over as treasurer is Liisa Kessing and our new social Director is Carolyn McGurn.  I look forward to working with all of the Board to make your membership to this club as enjoyable as possible.

The first general meeting of the year will be held on February 10th and will be an 8am shotgun. At this meeting we will discuss the upcoming events, introducing new members and taking your ideas for things you would like to see our club accomplish this year.  Please make an effort to attend all of the general meetings. 

The first of three guest days will be held on March 24th and will be an 8am shotgun.  The cost is $20 per person entry fee to be paid in advance.  The golf fee of $57 per person is to be paid to the pro shop at check in.  This is an opportunity for you to invite a friend to join you for a day of golf, lunch and prizes.  Check the bulletin board and the website for more information in February.

The sign up procedure will remain as it has in the past. Sign up sheets are located on the bulletin board in the pro shop.  On Tuesday, after golf, I take the sign up sheet for the following Tuesday off the board and send it out in an email.  You will have until Wednesday afternoon at 3pm to send me any changes or additions.  Once I have finalized the tee sheet, I fax it to the pro shop and send the final times out in another email.  Starting on Thursday morning, any changes or cancellations should be handled by calling the pro shop at 944-1936.  Keep in mind that we have a $5.00 no show fee if you don’t call to cancel your time.
