Note from the President

Happy New Year, Ladies!

I hope that each of you had a fabulous holiday season and are welcoming 2012 as a brand new opportunity for growth and happiness!  Your Encinitas Ranch Women's Golf Club Board of Directors is re-upping our commitment to making it a fun-filled year on the golf course.  I hope you'll join us often on Tuesdays this year and enjoy getting to know the many new members who have come on board.

January will start right off with our monthly Encinitas Cup qualifier on the 24th, so sharpen your game and get that qualifying off your list early!  The 2011 winner of the Encinitas Cup was Jolene Thompson, while Sue Schakel won for low net.  Sandy Thomas was the most-improved player of the year, and earlier in the summer, Liisa Kessing captured the President's Cup, as she eliminated each of her competitors in match play competition.  And in April, Cindy Platko took home the trophy for winning the Club Championship in convincing style!

Each of those tournaments will be up for grabs again this year as well as the weekly sweeps games.  We'll also be following your posted scores to keep track of who improves most.  If you'd like to be a part of "Ringers" this year, please contact Tina Lane.

We're looking forward to another exciting year with you at E-Ranch.  We'll see you on the golf course!
