Attached is the County Capers. We have a lot of great tournaments coming up and I encourage you all to try to enter. We play on some exciting courses and you get to meet players from all over. The more tournaments you play, the more merit points you will earn. More on that later. Also, I have SDCWGA 2010 books available in the drawer at the Club. We have one book available to each member. Please take one.

You can still register for the SDCWGA County Classic event at Sycuan Resort on March 8 with an 8:00 shotgun start. This is a partner event for all skill levels. An 8 stroke differential is allowed between partners - you may play with a higher differential, but the higher handicap partner must play down. It's a FUN format - better ball of partners the first 6 holes, two person scramble the second 6 holes and alternate shot the final 6 holes. A third of the field will be awarded gross and net prizes.
The entry fee is $77.00. Entries close on Sunday, February 7 , so register online at www.golfsdcwga.org, or mail the registration form in your 2010 SDCWGA book.
